Orlando, Fla., June 4, 2005 -- Urban Search and Rescue dog FloJo searches through rubble to find a disaster victim during a training exercise. Dogs find victims by scent and are then trained to give a "focused bark" for at least two minutes to bring human help to the location. During a disaster FEMA brings in USR, or Urban Search and Rescue, teams from around the country.
